Guidelines for sending us files
DO'S DON'TS
Illustrator

• Please convert type to outlines to ensure an exact match.

• Export as .EPS to ensure maximum compatibility

Word

• Unless you have no other option we would prefer that you not send us Word documents. If you can convert it to a .PDF file

*Note please ensure that you save your artwork in a compatible format, i.e. PDF, JPG, PNG

Photoshop

• Please flatten layers and convert to uncompressed JPG whenever possible

• Please keep file size below 3 MB in size. If it is larger then that it most likely needs flattening, or converting to JPG

• Bitmaps are best at a resolution of 150-300 pixels/inch to maintain print quality. Please check and lower the resolution before uploading your artwork.

WYSIWYG

• WYSIWYG: What You See Is What You Get: If the image is tiny, blurry or jagged on your computer screen, it will be the same on the T-Shirt.

• Hold a ruler up to your monitor. If the image is 2 inches wide on the screen, it will be 2 inches wide on the shirt

Corel Draw

• We work with CorelDraw everyday so native .CDR files are great.

• Please convert type to outlines to ensure a exact match.

Mock-ups

• Please just send us the artwork and describe where you would like it on the shirt, (i.e. left chest, full front) rather than a "mock-up".

• Actual T-shirt "mock-up" sent to us.

File Archives

• Please use a compression/archiving program if you are sending multiple files.

WinZip or WinRAR are both excellent.

ALREADY HAVE A T-SHIRT DESIGN?

The wiz has many ways of weaving his magic into T-Shirts and garments, but which method he employs depends upon a few factors.

• Complexity of design
• Number of pieces in the order
• Colour and style of shirts

If you send your design ideas or artwork along with the
garments details using our Custom T-Shirt Order Forms, one of our wizards
will work with you to determine the most cost effective method.

SENDING YOUR T-SHIRT DESIGN FILES TO LOGOMAGIK:

Photoshop, Illustrator and Corel are the programs we use everyday.

  • We do most of our work on a PC platform, so IBM compatible files (i.e. EPS) are great.
  • Bitmaps (jpgs, gifs, photoshop files - generally used for photographs and full colour artwork) are best at a resolution of 150-300 pixels/inch
to maintain print quality. Please check and lower the resolution before uploading your artwork.
  • WYSIWYG: If the image is tiny, blurry or jagged on your computer screen, it will be look the same on the T-Shirt.
  • Vector files are awesome.
  • Although we have many fonts, converting type to outline is a great idea.
  • Please flatten layers and convert to JPG whenever possible
  • Please keep file size below 3 MB in size. If it is larger then that it most likely needs flattening, or converting to JPG
  • Please do not send us Word documents, unless you have no other option. Word is a text editor - not an image editor. If you are in need of Image editing software there are many shareware and freeware vector and bitmap editing programs available. *Note please ensure that you save your artwork in a compatible format, i.e. PDF, JPG, PNG
